I have to wear spandex for volleyball, but I don’t know what to wear under it. Are people supposed to wear underwear when wearing spandex or not? If someone on my team asks me if I wear underwear under spandex, and i don’t, I don’t want to be embarrassed if I am the only one who doesn’t. I am kind of embarrased to ask my mom about it. If I am supposed to wear underwear, what kind should I get so you can’t see lines through the spandex? We wear long spandex, like a 4 inch inseam I think.

8th graders are too young to wear thongs?

i really think i needthem cuz whenever i wear my volleyball uniform, my underwear lines show through! i dont think my mom would buy them (especially NOT my dad), and i have lot’s of tight pants! also, i like thongs cuz they are good for low rise jeans (from one that i have bought b4..and my dad didnt know). and my friend that’s mormon, HER parents even let her wear them (mormons r REALLY strict). all my friends can wear one, but i cant?! i dont get it? y cant i wear one? its not a sign of sexuality to me.

A good friend and I compete in gymnastics. Our parents trade off driving to the meet when it’s far away and video tape it when we perform so the parents who aren’t there can watch later.

So last meet, on my floor rutine I got a huge wedgie. Usually I glue my leotard but I guess I had forgotten that time. Anyway, there I was dancing around with my leotard practically in a thong in back. Bare butt out for everyone to see! I was soo embarrassed.

The worst part was that on the way home afterward my friend’s mom teased me saying she didn’t think the judges gave extra points for mooning them! Then my friends dad said I could watch my bare hiney in action when we got back, because he got it all on tape and even zoomed in a few times!!!

Geeezz….Can you top that?

I want to wear underwear with my spandex with no lines. My mom would freak if I ask her for a thong because I am only 13 and so now i wear regular underwear and it shows lines. I have ‘no line’ PINK from VS underwear but it seems to show more than regular underwear because the edges roll. I was wondering if anyone knew of any seamless underwear that shows no line for volleyball and wear it without any problem?

I am a 13 year old girl. I am not a slut or anything near that. I take ballet and we really are not supposed to wear underwear, only a leotard and tights. I personally think it is kind of unsanitary. I wear bikini cut underwear, but make sure it does not show when I am wearing my leotard. Recently during a partnering class we had to do a move where the guy puts his hands on your waist and lifts you up to sit on his shoulder, when he did lift me my underwear was showing, and I hope no one was looking there. I got back down and I quickly fixed it but it was still an embarrassing moment. Do you think I can wear a thong just so it will have less chance of showing? If so, how can I tell my mom? I really do not want to grow up too fast, and try to hang onto as much childhood as I have left. If I do decide to get one I will only were it when I am dancing.
Please give me some advise and I would appreciate all answers, Thank you!

ok I’m 13 and I play volleyball so i wear thongs for that. but i want to wear them all the time. i think they are more comfortable. and its not like i want to show them off, just my personal preference. so if you had a 13 year old daughter ask you to wear thongs what would you say. because my mom thinks it makes me a slut.

also any advice on how to convince her to let me wear them?

Me and my mom are pretty close, but I don’t like asking her for stuff that’s personal… I am doing volleyball, and I want to try thongs for spandex, but I don’t know how to ask!! Should I just ask face-to-face, email her, or write a note? Thanks ahead of time!!!
My mom wears thongs a lot, so I’m sure she’d probably be okay with it… Thanks guys!
And I’m usually not allowed to shop on my own, my parents are kinda overprotective. :\

My 14 yo step daughter (who lives full time with her father and I)is in High School Volleyball. They wear spandex shorts for practice and games. She wants to wants to wear a thong because of VPL. I think she is too young and I know she will wear them with her lower rise jeans too. She asked and I said no. The shorts have a liner built in, but her bio-mom bought her 2 pairs. Both are very sexy and one has thick braided sides that would in fact show like a VPL. Am I right in thinking she should be more like 16 or 17?

I am 13 and I wear thongs on the regular. I started doing it because I play volleyball and if I wear granny panties you can see the lining and the shorts are like spandexish. I just started wearing them on the regular because I thought it was dumb to switch to normal underwear to thongs over and over when I have practice. Is this innapropriate.

PS my mom knows.

And if it is, is there another style of underwear I can resort to.
